｢プラウ・デワタ(神々の住む島)｣と称されるバリ島はインドネシア共和国のバリ州にあたる地域です。インドネシアはアジアで唯一の赤道直下国なので年中温暖な気候で知られています。
歴史と伝統を感じさせる寺院の数々や芸能、芸術分野の見どころも豊富で訪れる人々を魅了します。
今回私はバリ島のバドゥン、クタ・セラタンというエリアを訪れました。
とても神秘的な体験を与えてくれるエリアでしたのでいくつか紹介したいと思います。

空港では、荷物を運ぶことを申し出てくれる人がいますが、彼らの中にはサービス後に500円硬貨を要求してくることがあります。
もちろん、正規のポーターサービスもありますが、非公式な人々がいるため、荷物は自分で運ぶのがベストです。
知らない人に荷物を渡してしまうと、思わぬ出費につながることもあるので気を付けましょう。

バリ島での移動手段 Transportation in Bali

アプリを使って簡単にバイクタクシーや車を呼ぶことができます。料金も比較的安く、手軽に利用できます。
●タクシー：
メーター制のタクシーと交渉制のタクシーがあります。メーター制のタクシー（特にブルーバードタクシーが評判が良い）を利用するのが安心です。乗車前にメーターを使用するか確認しましょう。
●レンタカーまたはバイク：
自由に島内を探索したい方には、レンタカーやレンタルバイクがおすすめです。ただし、バリ島の交通事情は日本と大きく異なり、道も複雑な場合があるため、運転には十分な注意が必要です。国際運転免許証が必要となります。
●おススメ！チャーター車（プライベートドライバー付き）：
決まった時間や日数で車とドライバーをチャーターする方法です。行きたい場所を自由に伝えられ、荷物が多い場合やグループでの移動に便利です。料金は交渉次第ですが、ガソリン代が含まれていることが多いです。
●シャトルバス：
主要な観光地間を結ぶシャトルバス（例：クラクラバス、プラマシャトルバス）があります。比較的安価で、観光客向けのルートを運行しています。
●公共バス（トランス・メトロ・デワタなど）：
地元の人々も利用する公共のバスシステムです。運賃は非常に安いですが、路線や時刻表が旅行者には分かりにくい場合があります。

信号機もあまりなくインフラ整備もまだまだで、停車するとすぐ売り子が寄ってきますので、難易度高いと思いました。
